FAQ
CCO ID ACCOUNT QUESTIONS
What is a CCO ID?
CCO ID, CCOID and Cisco.com ID are all used interchangeably to refer to your Cisco.com account. Cisco Learning Network Space requires a CCO ID (i.e., Cisco.com account) in order to log in and redeem your access codes for your student kits. The most important attributes of your CCO ID are:
- User ID
- Password
- Primary Email Address
The User ID and Password are used to log in to Cisco Learning Network Space (https://learningspace.cisco.com/).
Once you redeem an access code for a student kit, the student kit is forever tied to your User ID.
If you change the User ID for your CCO ID account, you will lose access to all your student kits redeemed using that User ID.
If you forget your Password, the only way to reset it involves using your Primary Email Address, so it is very important to keep your Primary Email Address up-to-date.
If you forget your Password and you no longer have access to your Primary Email Address, then you will lose access to all your student kits.
Is there anything that I should do before logging in to Cisco
Learning Network
Space for the first time or before redeeming an access
code?
If you
registered your CCO ID a while ago, ensure that the email
address associated with
your CCO ID is up to date. This will allow you to
recover your CCO ID in
case you forget your password. This will also allow us to
reach you in case you
have any inquiries or need help from our Support Team. Log in to Cisco.com, click
Account and then
click Profile Manager. Once in the Cisco.com
Profile Manager, you can
update the Email field with your current email address.
Can I change the ID for my CCO ID?
If you’ve
redeemed any student
kits, then do not change the ID for your CCO ID.
Doing so will
result in losing access to your redeemed student kits.
Can I associate the same email address with multiple CCO
IDs?
No,
an email address can only be associated with one CCO ID. Associating
an email address
with more than one CCO ID is not allowed and will cause you to lose
access to any
redeemed student kits.
How do I change the email address for my CCO ID?
- Log in to Cisco.com using your CCO ID.
- Click Account near the top right.
- Click Customer Profile Manager.
- Update your email address to one that is not associated with any other CCO ID.
- Click Save Changes, when done.
How do I change the password for my CCO ID?
- Log in to Cisco.com using your CCO ID.
- Click Account near the top right.
- Click Customer Profile Manager.
- Click the Security tab.
- Enter and re-enter your new password.
- Click Save Changes, when done.
I forgot the password for my CCO ID account. How do I reset the password?
- To request assistance to help reset your password, send an email to: web-help@cisco.com
- Please note that you must still have access to the email address associated with your CCO ID in order to be able to reset the password.
How do I log in to a Cisco eReader app (for Windows / Android / iPad / macOS)?
- For any Cisco eReader app with version 5.2.0 or later, log in using either your email address or CCO ID.
- For any Cisco eReader app with version 5.1.x or earlier, log in using either your CCO ID only.
